Living with chronic pain can bring about feelings of hopelessness, trigger emotional distress, cause sleep problems, and interfere with pleasurable activities. In this workshop, we’ll examine some of the causes of persistent pain, how it manifests in the brain, and explore various tools to help alleviate pain symptoms. There will be lecture, mindful movement and breathing, expressive writing, and Q & A. This workshop is appropriate for those who struggle with chronic pain, those treating pain sufferers, and those who love them.
